Pricing
You see the total before you confirm
Not an estimate, not a range, and not a number that grows on arrival. The itemised price, added up, in front of you.

The formula
Five parts, added together
Base fee
A flat amount per delivery, covering the fixed cost of servicing a job at all.
Distance
Banded, not linear — and measured along the route, not in a straight line. A straight-line price on a route that crosses a river is a price nobody accepts twice.
Package size
Four bands by weight and longest dimension. Anything that fits no available transport is refused at request time rather than priced.
Urgency
Standard, express or scheduled. Scheduled is cheaper because a delivery we can plan for is a delivery we can staff.
Protection
Cover up to $50 is included. Higher cover is optional and priced before you confirm.
Waiting time
The first 10 minutes at pickup or destination are free. After that it is charged per minute — and that money goes to the courier who waited.
The numbers
Harare at launch
Distance
Short hops are dominated by fixed cost; the marginal kilometre on a long run is cheap. A single per-kilometre rate over-prices both.
| Distance | Rate |
|---|---|
| 0 – 2 km | Included in the base fee |
| 2 – 5 km | $0.35 per km |
| 5 – 10 km | $0.30 per km |
| 10 – 20 km | $0.25 per km |
| Over 20 km | $0.22 per km |
Package size
At launch the ceiling is 20 kg and 60 × 45 × 45 cm — the limit of what a motorcycle courier can carry safely.
| Band | Weight | Longest side | Fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| XS | Up to 1 kg | Up to 20 cm | No charge |
| S | Up to 3 kg | Up to 35 cm | $0.30 |
| M | Up to 7 kg | Up to 50 cm | $0.70 |
| L | Up to 15 kg | Up to 70 cm | $1.50 |
Urgency
| Level | Multiplier | What it changes |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | ×1.0 | Normal dispatch |
| Express | ×1.4 | Priority dispatch and a tighter arrival estimate |
| Scheduled | ×0.9 | A future window — cheaper, because it helps us plan supply |
These are the tariff values configured for Harare at launch, in US dollars. They are settings rather than constants, and they can change per city and per transport type. The quote you are shown always uses the values in force at that moment, and it holds for 10 minutes.
Two promises
What we will not do to a price
No surge in Harare
Demand pricing exists in the system and is switched off for this market. If it is ever switched on, it is capped and it is disclosed on the quote — never applied quietly to a total you have already seen.
The quote does not move
Once you accept a quote it is fixed. Extra charges are possible only for things that happen afterwards — waiting time, an added stop, a return — and each one is named and notified when it is applied.
For couriers
What GO! takes
Commission is 20% of the delivery price. You see what a job pays before you accept it and what you earned after you finish it.
There is a minimum earning per delivery. If a customer cancels after you have already travelled, you are compensated for the travel. Waiting time is passed through to you in full. Promotions and discounts come out of our commission and never out of your earnings.
Work out your price before you sign up.
Everything above is the whole model. There is nothing behind it that appears at checkout.
